Sadly, No Poetry Breakfast For Me
Although I was very happy to have my poem Catching The Dalmatian accepted at egg poetry earlier this week (link to follow), I was disappointed with tonight’s emailed rejection from Poetry Breakfast, declining to publish three pieces I sent them in mid-March.
It was a friendly rejection though, and (like any writer) I really appreciated editor Isabel Sylvan’s very prompt response (approximately 2 weeks, as promised). Poetry Breakfast is pretty slick & can come directly to your daily mailbox if you decide to subscribe, as I have. I recommend it. You should definitely check it out.

Every rejection is a blow to the morale, but at least you’ve had an acceptance. I had a rejection from Right Hand Pointing this morning. C’est la Vie.
