It’s Quadrille Monday again at the dVerse Poets Pub; time to create a 44-word poem. This week, we’re asked to create a poem using the word “Heart ” or some word that incorporates it.
Thanks to De Jackson (aka WhimsyGizmo) for hosting and getting us started.

There should be a heart font
instantly recognizable
like Times New Roman or
(my favorite) Tahoma;
a font that only lovers can read;
that sings unending love
even if you’re only noodling
the first draft of a lovesong
or printing out a shopping list.

~ We {heart} poems ~

❤️ I find many heart emojis, but no heart font! ❤️
Oh, I love this! I’m a Bookman Old Style girl myself. It makes my heart happy. 😉
I would love such a font… but I think it has to be written by hand to really work… ❤
I like the idea of a heart font for lovers. 💙
I ❤ this!!
I would use it, maybe even in place of Tahoma.
The last half is what got me. I adore the mental image of a person writing their love through a grocery list. I’m surprised at how much that touched me.
Yes!!! Oh my gosh, this is AWESOME!
It would be a best-seller for sure.
I like this take on the prompt. Nicely done.
Ahh, this is beautiful!
Brilliant. Should there also be a hate font? Just thinking ahead about how we can save ourselves from having to explain our moods. Brilliant idea.
Hopefully, the heart font would be rhythmic.
Ron,
A font of love: now that’s one for the muse to ponder on. For now, it will have to be handwritten. :>)

What a cool idea! 🙂 Just gorgeous!!
Oh, how wonderful if that were to be! I love the thought of it.
That’s it!! Love this poem and the font too!!!
It’s the kind of idea only a lover would come up with 🙂
“a font that only lovers can read”
that would be lovely, Ron. such a creative thought.
I love this!
Indeed. Nice one Ron
Much❤love
I’ve read this a few times, and I feel like the poem literally gets better with each line – beautiful, Ron.

❤ I agree!
First of all, the idea of a font that only lovers can read is brilliant, and second, I also love Tahoma why does no one use this font! (I actually have a client that switches all my docs to Arial, the world’s dullest font)
A very cute little ditty. Enjoyed it.
Perhaps you might create one ….. the language of love font.
Yes! Would it become less meaningful the more it was used, I wonder? I never tire of the heart emojis though! 💓💕💗
I adore the thought of a font only lovers can read!
You’ll just have to create your own!
Wowww!! 💝 I love the idea of “heart font,” 😀 so innovative, Ron!
