How To Placid
You can flip all the coins you want,
roll and roll and roll the dice,
play Rock/Paper/Scissors
‘til your fingers fall off.
None of that stuff matters.
Avoid the risk.
Take no chances.
Whatever is, is.
Get used to it.
Just Breathe.
Breathe.

~ Take A Risk ~
———[||]———
Beautifully said. Sometimes, letting things happen as they are is good. Some risks should definitely be avoided.
Breathe in and out. I will avoid that risk though; best to sit out of it.
Feeling crummy about my modest wager on the Belmont Stakes and Hot Rod Charlie. Never again. Love the poem, Ron.
This poem makes me want to skydive while holding my breath! Thanks for the pep talk! 😆
But there is a time when risk returns and we step into the unknown. Great poem Ron.
Take the risk or be left wondering could something big have happened. Love it.
I’m not a fan of gambling (unless you call entering the Bridport Prize gambling) so I’m happy not to take those kind of risks!
It’s a start. (K)
Powerful response to the prompt, Ron 💝 I agree, sometimes it’s better not to risk it.
Oh yes… accepting and going with the flow is mostly wise… risks should be taken with care.
Just Breathe. That in itself is taking a risk!
Always good advice, to just breathe.
