With the kind room-booking expertise / assistance of My Beloved Sandra, I’m set for next weekend’s trip to the deep south. I’m really looking forward to hearing dozens of fine writers (with a concentration on poets, of course) and attending Sunday’s tribute to Galway Kinnell, a great Vermont poet–one I was honored to have met twice–and to hearing some of his stellar work read by other brilliant writers.

you might also want to bring some warm weather clothing, too. I hear those places south of here get a bit unseasonal in mid autumn…
