Ronthologized

Don’t know how I lost track of this…

Greek Fire, the latest anthology from Lost Tower Publications is now available through all the usual channels. Official publication date was July 1st. I’m very happy to be included.

The blurb:
A sensuous, seductive retelling of the stories of ancient Greece.”

My poem “Icarus, These Days” isn’t really a ‘retelling’ of that particular myth.  Instead, I hope it draws some relevant parallels between the story and my own (and I suspect others’) modern existence.

You can read more about the contents and find a link to the full list of contributors HERE.

I have two other pieces due to be published /republished soon in separate and consecutive anthologies, both from editors A.J. Huffman and April Salzano at Kind Of A Hurricane Press:

>>Revisiting Venus,  a brief (180-word) unpublished prose piece about visiting a hospital, almost dying of cold, contemplating death and watching the skies for a sign will appear in Objects in the Rear View Mirror.

>>Haiku Stupid, a series of–you guessed it–haiku about stupid stuff, originally published online (last year) at High Coupe, will be included in Storm Cycle, the press’s annual “Best Of…” anthology, which gathers work from their (several) online journals.
