I’m working on the Haiku Heights September Challenge, writing a haiku every day for a month.

Today’s one-word prompt is: “Hypnotic”.

millions of starfish
stare up through watery skies
mesmerized by moon

Hadn’t thought about looking down to see stars. But then, I’m about 600 miles inland. None too many of those things around here. Got plenty of the ones overhead, though
