The Writing Life Is Killing Me.
Just over half-way through April, trying to keep up with the grisly poem-a-day pace many poets commit to, is wearing me pretty thin. I promised myself last year I’d never do it again, & now I remember why. Still, since I was silly enough to start, I guess I’ll try to finish out the month, but I Swear: Never Again!
(You, too, can have you six-word say at Show My Face.)
Fellow feeling flows across the ether.
Stopping by from 6WS… I’m write there with you.
I love to write poems…but only when they come to me. I have one on my SWS post today if you care to read it.
Happy Saturday!

You can do it!!!!!
Anything worthwhile often takes time and pain but the end result is worth it.
Thanks for dropping by my blog – I’m sorry your mum is no longer with you, I know there are so many things I need to say to my mum because you don’t realise what you put them through until you’re a parent yourself.
Good luck with the writing
you’re halfway there!! no time to quit. and as the saying goes: “never say never”. is it the fear of the blank page? as a writer, you know the tricks to beat this. use them!! good luck!!

I swore I would not do what I did last time. I didn’t. I did it all very differently. That has made a big difference.

I hear ya, brother. Love it.
I can’t even commit to blogging daily right now, never mind a poem every day. Still, I think there’s a lot to be said for writing with discipline from time to time!
Thanks for playing 6WS!
