Uninspired

He still has his words.
He hopes he has an outlet.
(Shadows can brighten.)
He sits there in the darkness
waiting for inspiration.

Waiting is waiting.
Sometimes the sun doesn’t rise.
Sometimes sunlight’s dark.

He goes back to bed.
Tomorrow’s another day.
Maybe then. Maybe.
