Mud Season
Things are different here, where we have to survive the Fifth Season.
It’s bad enough that we only have a two-week Spring and a month-long Summer. We’re blessed with an admittedly beautiful (but very brief) Autumn before our seven-or-eight months of Winter set in. But Winter’s finally over and now — halfway through Mud Season, when whole cars are swallowed up on their way down to the general store — I’ll have to survive my least favorite of the five.

Love it.
There outta be a law!
Holy Cow…I can’t imagine so much winter! Or that much mud! But I live in Southeast Texas and we have the inverse…already mid-90s every day!
