I offer up this slightly rewritten version as a Wednesday Haibun though, to be honest, I wrote it a while back as a Sevenling (see original below).

Answered Prayers

She wasn’t a betting woman, but she hoped to find him soon. She’d always hoped he’d be both tall and dark, maybe even handsome. She knew she’d keep looking, but she also knew she’d settle for two out of three.

She searched both high and low, day and night. The guy she found was short and balding. But he was kind, not too homely, and he clearly appreciated her tits and ass.

Her prayers answered
the odds makers went crazy
