Sunlight Lies
7:18AM. Isolated and immobilized in the room with one small window, one green wall and everything else still gray, everything this early — despite new sunlight — remains faded. Even the icicled, distant sun — three weeks into the new year, half a day past the blizzard — remains uncertain, flops itself over into the new-made snow, proclaims itself Lord of The Expanded Vista, Bringer of The New Year’s Bliss.

Thank you, Frank. I’m greatly honored.

Oh, it sounds TERRIBLE – I’m from the south and today it’s been in the mid-40s which is pretty cold for us 😂. Excellent entry!
