Fulfillment (Kasa)

Fulfillment

I’ve been there; seen the empty
all others seem to ignore

and I’ve survived –at long last—
its grey, aching vacancy.

Now I live in Paradise.
Mornings sing; midnights matter;

I’m not alone. I am held.
Grey vanishes. She loves me.

Huge thanks to Sanaa over at dVerse Poets for providing background and issuing the challenge to create something in the Korean verse “Kasa” form. Click the link below to learn more. I hope I’ve done it justice…

  1. Goodness this is gorgeously rendered, Ron! So much to love here especially; “Now I live in Paradise. Mornings sing; midnights matter,” deep, deep emotion courses like waves throughout. Thank you so much for writing to the prompt 💝💝
