Anybody can write a haiku, right? Maybe. Maybe not. Formal haiku can be pretty fussy, what with its preference for syllable count, reference to Nature, blah, blah blah…
So, instead, I’m kicking off 2021 with a piece in Failed Haiku – A journal of English Senryu.
I’m grateful to Co-Editors Bryan Rickert and Michael Rehling for including my work among all the other really fine contributions to this year’s 1st issue.
