Sevenling (it’s hard enough)
It’s hard enough being lost
on uncharted seas, unanchored,
encircled by unreachable horizons.
It’s even worse being airborne,
untethered among the clouds, afloat,
at the mercy of uncaring air.
We’re better off bolted down.

maybe not bolted down, tethered on a long flexible leash? But that’s not very poetic. Great sentiment though. 🙂
