I’m happy (ie very happy) that Write What You Know, a 50-word story/poem, is my first published piece for 2020.
I’m especially grateful to Tim Sevenhuysen, editor at 50-Word Stories, for the rapid (ie exceptionally rapid) response, and especially so since it was an acceptance. I submitted Write What You Know at 7:18 AM on New Year’s Day and got the acceptance less than 12 hours later!
I don’t usually engage in metapoetics (ie writing about writing) so Write What You Know is an exception.
