Not A Nag

We’ve been asked, at Poets United, to write about “Everyday Living“. This may not be “everyday” for everyone, but it is for me…

Guardian Angel

What time did you
come to bed she asks
and when he tells her
half past two she says
too late, too late,
you’re always staying up
too late
…………….and he hears
in her voice
his Guardian Angel

  1. Smart guy,,,,you know you’ve got a winner. Sorry… all guys need looking after… you are all hopeless without a guiding hand, nudge or two or even in some circumstances being beaten into submission with a tea towel:)
