It’s April.
It’s early April
and it sucks.
In Vermont
snowy April lasts and lasts
almost forever.

It’s April.
It isn’t May yet.
We’re waiting.
And waiting.
In May the snow becomes mud.
May is mud season.

We hate it.
Mud season’s a pain
you-know-where
(in the ass).
We’re all waiting for summer.
It’s three whole weeks long!
