Ron.’s New Flute

I know, I know; I swore I was done collecting them, but…

Here’s my new flute, a Condor Bass in E Flat, played by the man who makes them, Odell Borg of High Spirit Flutes (Patagonia, AZ).

    • Yep. Me, too. I had to save a few pennies for this one, and wait for it to show up with the Flute-Of-The Month Discount. But now it’s mine, mine, mine!

  1. I know exactly where you’re coming from – Musical instruments are beautiful mute or being played. But you can’t play them all at once, so why not start a flute orchestra and arrange music for them (I find transposition easy to play, writing it down is another kettle of fish). I used to run a scratch orchestra in our cottage, with any instruments my friends could play – the combination was weird: 2 clarinets, 1 flute, 1 bassoon, 1 trumpet and a cello.
