Six Word Saturday

POTHOLES

It’s Like Driving On The Moon

rut

It’s hard to decide which is worse: ten thousand frozen potholes in a half-mile stretch, each a potential axle-buster, or mile after mile of rutted, quicksandy muck.

But it’s an easy cruise over to Call Me Cate‘s SHOW MY FACE. Check it out!

  1. Those are small lakes, no potholes, Ron! Good luck navigating.

I’ll choose the holes over the muck though. The holes can be avoided – well, sort of – the muck not.

    Enjoy the weekend 🙂

  2. hmmm….. I think I would choose the holes and try to swerve rather than getting stuck in the muck (although that is what life feels like sometimes anyway!!)
    Have a good week

  3. ohhhh yeah. Our back roads look a lot like this, I think I prefer the Other Side of the Road philosophy, as long as the people coming at me around the blind corner dont object. Good luck in your travels and travails, Ron.

  4. What an amazing photo with the pot holes! It’s no fun driving through them though. The quicksandy muck doesn’t sound too appealing either. But I know when travelling you can stumble onto both variations 😉

  5. Hey Ron, those are ‘some’ roads you found. I’ll take the Houston area’s good streets anytime. Congratulations on your “Not Quite Mud-Luscious Yet” making it big time.
