Carols Already? Say It Ain’t So!
I visited a client’s home yesterday & she had her radio tuned to the local station, which was blasting Christmas carols, one after the other. I was very happy to get out of there & make my Grinchy way back to the office, listening instead to NPR.

You should definitely tune in Call Me Cate at: SHOW MY FACE.

agreed. And let us not forget the endless loop in the stores with seventeen versions of White Christmas, four versions of Blue Christmas and always the eternal and interminable Chipmunks.
Earplugs. Think earplugs.
And a Happy New Year!
Xmas seems very quiet over here right now- mind you I do avoid the large shops now. Hate it when they broadcast them so loud I can’t think!
Oh you are a right old humbug!
We need some songs for Thanksgiving, or not.
I agree—it’s much too early!
Is it here already? Did I miss something?
The holly and the ivy, when they are all full grown, Of all the trees that are in the woods…dee dum, dee dum..
I know… right? I heard them in the store and thought it isn’t even Thanksgiving yet… what the heck???
We had one store that actually stopped playing Christmas music because of the protests, I wish we could get the shops to stop playing any music too loud.
I do enjoy the Christmas carols, but don’t like the Black Friday and Christmas related commercials already.
I love Christmas music, church services, and movies, and concerts, and plays…and well…just about everything Christmas! But the years that I worked in retail, I got so tired of all of the commercial side of the season. It should be all about Jesus! (:>) He is the “Good News”!!!

every year it starts earlier and earlier.. before we know it, we will be seeing santa on memorial day!
I worked in retail several years and hate! hate! that it starts earlier every year even though I am now retired it still makes my nerves go on edge to hear Christmas music beginning the day of Halloween or theChristmas items on the shelf next to Halloween there is very little thanksgiving merchandise either. I just think corporations are so greedy and think if they shove it down our throats that the season will soon be here and we better “get it” now mentally willl kick in. Needless to say but I get so upset I don’t purchase anything for Christmas until after Thanksgiving.
I usually start making Christmas cards and gifts in October and listening helps get me in the mood. I am usually very ready for it to stop on Boxing day!
oh I’m ignoring it all until December … the middle of December …. (fingers in ears … la la la la la!)
You’d better avoid me in December 😀
I hope not.. my little ones were learning some for their winter performance at school and i forbade them to practice at home until after Thanksgiving!
