Picture Me On The Porch

In keeping with the wickedly c-o-l-d weather of late, my award-winning poem, Cold Snap—about being old & being photographed out in the cold—is up today in the current issue of Front Porch Review, a fine online litmag, published quarterly, that was also kind enough to publish my poem On A Wire in their April 2011 issue.  I’m happy to be included in the January issue!

You can read Cold Snap Here and On A Wire HERE.

Cold Snap was originally published in February of ’06 at the Crescent Moon Journal, where it took 2nd place in their “winter poems” contest.  You can read it there, too, with a nifty photo and the judges’ comments HERE.

  1. That looks a lot like our cabin. I feel like I met you in that poem. I love the snowy hair conclusion. I got a streak of snow in my hair at age 13. And now it has spread.
