I am not Prufrock—
I do not wear my trousers rolled,
dare to eat peaches

I have to admit – had to look up Prufrock. Probably best not to be him.
Love the picture. Prufrock the columnist in the Daily Telegraph might be a better bet.
Liking this, Ron. A very fitting picture also.
I probably could measure my life with coffee spoons. And the coffee might be the death of me. But I like it.
“Shall I part my hair behind? Do I dare to eat a peach?
I shall wear white flannel trousers, and walk upon the beach.
I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each.”
I’d love to!
..
you be having fun I hope :D
I love your reference to Prufrock. I glanced again at the memorable lines from this poem. Terrific haiku!
